O Lord, Singapore is Yours!
Tiny nation with a global destiny!
A miracle of Your grace.
A sign of Your favour.
A wonder of Your mighty love!
Because You delight in small things, O Lord, You chose us to be Your mega bridge of blessing to a world in need. You called us Antioch of Asia to serve the nations.
As we enjoy Your lavish blessings, we remember the poor – the teeming millions living in utter darkness and deprivation all around us in Asia.
Open our eyes to see as You see. Open our ears to hear as You hear. Open our hearts to feel as You feel.
Baptize us in Your compassionate love. A love that is patient. A love that is kind. A love that keeps no record of wrongs. A love that protects. A love that always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. A love that never fails!
May we rightly represent You in nations that whole cities will be drawn to Christ our Saviour. May our shining example inspire dreams to be born in hearts again!
May it be said among the nations: in the Day of His Power, Singapore laid down her life to make us great –
Restoring our dignity, repairing our communities, rebuilding our fortunes, renewing our hopes, reviving our spirits, redeeming our lives in Jesus’ love!
Then will Singapore bring You great renown – as a City of Compassion, a beloved Church, a blessed nation in whom the Father is well pleased.
